We will continue to watch over the City of Orlando, Orange County, those involved in the fraudulent grift of the onePULSE Foundation, and others who have exploited and revictimized us.

Barbara Poma and the failed onePULSE Foundation once tried to put the names and faces of 1 million donors on the memorial as part of a failed fundraising campaign—using Epstein-connected @virgin billionaire @richardbranson as a marketing pawn.

Now, the shitty @thecitybeautiful thinks it's appropriate to put the names of Mayor @jdemings and @ocfl Commissioners. It is NOT appropriate, and now we have to continue fighting for what's right. Only the names and faces of our 49 murdered loved ones should be on ANY @pulseorlando memorial.

The City's $12.5M project is NOT for political legacies.

We will continue to fight to have this plaque removed if it is ever placed on the planned memorial.

Today, photos surfaced showing billionaire @virgin CEO Richard Branson with Jeffrey Epstein—convicted sex offender and sex-trafficker.

Branson publicly backed Barbara Poma and the now-failed OnePulse Foundation. These are the people and financial backing we fought against to stop this fraudulent nonprofit and course correct history—and we won!

These are the FACTS.

There was no functional security at the PULSE Nightclub—allowing the shooter to walk in, not once, but twice, without ever being stopped.

The argument that has been put forth by both the Orlando Police Department and the Pomas legal team is that the shooting was completely unforeseeable, but this is not a valid argument, as we show here. It is not lost on us that the OPD and their previous employer's legal team are making the same legal arguments to shield the Pomas from accountability. There has never been an independent, thorough investigation or even a building inspection. We offered to pay for one, but the City of Orlando ignored our requests. The cover-up continues.

Nightclubs are required to be gun-free zones by Florida law because of the propensity of gun violence to occur at these locations.

Furthermore, the Department of Homeland Security issued an active bulletin warning the public of terrorist threats following the attacks/shootings in San Bernardino and Paris. This bulletin was still in effect on June 12, 2016.

Not to mention the FACT that PULSE was operating as a nightclub in violation of its approved conditional-use permit, which restricted PULSE to being used as a restaurant with a martini bar. To run a gay nightclub in Florida, a state known for its open hostility towards LGBTQ+ people, without proper security is totally irresponsible.

When we say the City of Orlando lied and covered up the facts about the PULSE nightclub and its documented code violations and unpermitted renovations that hindered escape and rescue... this is a prime example of what we are talking about.
